My work runs parallel to my life. The painter is nourished by experiences, by what happens to him on a daily basis, which does not have to appear explicitly in the image but must always influence decisions and filter into the creative process.

When I paint something it is because I have experienced it in some way. An event, a thought, a feeling or a small emotion emanating from a fleeting moment can give rise to the birth of an idea, the germ of what can be turned into an artistic piece. And that is part of the work, the process, the trip; We cannot keep the paint on the canvas because that is the skin, the last layer that covers everything behind it; that painting is the word that tells the hidden, the verse that narrates the mystery.
